This authentic Genesis poster is a real gem of our cultural heritage!
It announces the concert of the British progressive rock band, in July 1992 at the Hippodrome de Vincennes
The amiable forties, Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks, known as Genesis, were the first at the time to have been able to fill the Hippodrome de Vincennes. We had already seen Guns'n'Roses and the Eric Clapton and Elton John show. But so far, no one had attracted 70,000 spectators there. Genesis did it, a day late. The concert in Paris, scheduled for July 1, had to be postponed until the next day due to roadblocks on the highways.
The British band performed their top hits like "Invisible Touch", "Land of Confusion" and "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight". This concert remains in the memories thanks to their incredible performance and the electric atmosphere of the public. Fans were transported to a unique and passionate musical world for the duration of the show.
