This original vintage Silmarils poster is an iconic piece of musical history!
Printed in 1995, the poster promotes the single "Cours Vite", by the French rock band whose name is inspired by the title of the book The Silmarillion by JRR Tolkien.

Silmarils made a meteoric entry into the French music industry that year, with their eponymous debut album.
The clip for the single "Cours Vite", directed by Olivier Dahan, puts porn stars in the spotlight for the first time. This first album goes gold. A European tour of more than 150 dates is organized and Silmarils notably opens for Sugar Ray.
Their music, combining rock and hip-hop, made the group a must in the French alternative scene of the 90s. Just like Tolkien's Silmarils, their "radiance of pure light" lit up the minds of their fans forever.
