This original vintage poster of Stiff little fingers is a precious historical witness of music!
It announces the concert of the punk rock band from Belfast on April 29, 1980 at the Bataclan.

They belong to that generation of teenagers who grew up in Northern Ireland, surrounded by soldiers and the smell of bombs. They engineered violent, sulfur-smelling rock and took their name from a Vibrators song that said, "If you couldn't see stiff little fingers, nobody would notice you're dead." On stage, they cry out their disgust for these permanent conflicts "resulting from a tradition that has been handed down from father to son for centuries", and claim their right not to take up arms.

That year, the group released their second album, "Nobody's Heroes", with a melodic sense that is being refined. Jake Burns and his accomplices, like an Irish Clash, even offer themselves a hit with "At The Edge", in this blessed time across the Channel when the punk jolt went so far as to shake up the airwaves and invade TV broadcasts and charts.

Printed by Imp. Lacroix Frères, this poster is an original vintage copy in excellent condition, it has never been glued and has been very well preserved.
