Printed in 1990, the poster promotes the album Vol 3., by the British-American rock supergroup formed by George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne and Roy Orbison.

After an internationally successful first album, Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1, including the hit Handle with Care. The deliberate erasure of egos to serve the music itself creates an unexpected enthusiasm and the album, initially thought of as a simple collective celebration, sells five million copies: it ranks in the Top 100 of the best albums of the 1980s.
The group, affected by the death of Roy Orbison at the end of 1988, nevertheless published a second work entitled Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3 and touring plans were born, but they did not materialize, the group ceasing all activity.
