This authentic Trust poster is a real gem of our cultural heritage!
It announces the concert of the French rock group, January 12, 1980 at the Pavillon de Paris
“Trampling. Glacial cold. Eight thousand kids, average seventeen. AC/DC badges, long hair. Delighted.
8 p.m. Waiting in ignorance (The radio messages which warned of the postponement of the concert at 10 p.m. had not been heard). Amazing calm.
10:45 p.m. Trust recounts the threats to ban the concert (Each time, they break the house, literally and figuratively. Result: a dazzling success and lawsuits with the organizers). Clamor.
First chords, signal of unleashing. Sixteen thousand hands mimic the chorus on eight thousand imaginary guitars.
All sing the words of hatred or protest, which they know by heart. Bernie is on the run and inveighs. The kids dance and sing.
I don't care about hard rock, but Trust impresses me! »⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
